REGOLITH, the rapper hailing from Kasai, Edogawa, Tokyo, drops his highly anticipated new EP, "Noisy Love."
As a core member of the Buzz Brats and East K Town crews, REGOLITH has returned with a project that showcases his profound evolution since his previous EP, "Fanfare."
While he labels the 7-track project an "EP," the density and sheer volume of the music rival a full-length album. The title "Noisy Love" captures his reality: being surrounded by a love so loud it is almost deafening, yet incredibly warm. This is a deeply personal narrative, stripping back the layers of his inner self and focusing intensely on the environment that shaped him - his hood and his brothers.
The journey begins with "I got a Kokoro (I got a Heart)," where he spits raw bars about finding his soul through the people he holds dear. In "Around My Hood," he paints a vivid, laid-back picture of the deep-cut spots and streets of Kasai, grounding the listener in his roots. The tracklist also features the fan-favorite single "Faded Clothing," an ode to his obsession with vintage wear - a cornerstone of his identity.
The tone shifts with the 6th track, "Tooboe (Howl)," where he confronts the darker, more painful aspects of his life and surroundings. He proves that this very pain is the fuel that drives his resilience. After "Noisy Night," an emotional track capturing the reluctance to end a loud, chaotic night with his crew, the EP reaches its grand finale with "Suiten Tosei." It is a powerful cry rising from his standpoint - a neighborhood sitting below sea level - aimed straight at the sky.
The humidity of Kasai, the love of family and friends, the scent of vintage threads, and the voices of the streets - everything that defines REGOLITH resonates in this passionate, personal masterpiece.
