Quite a long time has passed since we planned to release a "Christmas Song" however we did not get a nice chance, and this year I had strong will to do so. Words written by our drummer helped this song a lot to be completed. This is a second song of Bookends which is "Music by Sei Nakafuji, Words by Takahiko Terada", next to Carnival 2020.

Almost every part of a song has been fixed before recording but the remarkable ability of Kengo's slap bass changed everything. We started to recreate it with huge ideas from all members of Bookends. I am sure you will find nice iconic sounds of Japanese Pops during 80s and 90s.

Many visual scenery like childhood's nostalgic Christmas, tragic reality of the world, that is what I expect you to see.

    Around the end of 20th century, There happened to be a huge musical stream of Pop in Osaka, Japan. Takahiko Terada (Vocal and Drums) and Sei Nakafuji (Vocal and Guitar) were deep into those movement and have been building their song-writing skills and musicians' career from then. In 2015, they are meant to be starting a new band with each other's best reliable instrument players as Yoshi Nonomura (Keyboards) and Kengo Hirata (Bass), as Bookends. Bookends has got a couple of Lead Vocals and Songwriter, hence you will find both sides of unique character, sometimes pop and catchy, sometime just enthusiastically.
