Soft breeze whispers through the silent streets
Echoes of waves where the skyline meets
Neon reflections on the midnight shore
Eight doors waiting, which one’s yours?
Step inside, don’t be afraid
Every path we choose is fate
Some stay closed, some swing wide
Take my hand, let’s cross the tide
Eight doors, eight ways
Which one leads to brighter days?
Turn the key, feel the night
Step into the morning light
Footsteps echo on the cobbled ground
A fleeting touch, then lost, not found
Golden lanterns, memories blurred
Every door holds a whispered word
Step inside, don’t be afraid
Every path we choose is fate
Some stay closed, some swing wide
Take my hand, let’s cross the tide
Eight doors, eight ways
Which one leads to brighter days?
Turn the key, feel the night
Step into the morning light
Maybe it’s love behind door number three
Or a dream waiting past number eight
No way to know if we stand still
So let’s run before it’s too late
Soft breeze whispers through the silent streets
Eight doors standing, calling me

Artist Profile
starclime
There are still landscapes in music that we have yet to see. starclime is a fourteen-member music project. Taking City Pop as one of its starting points, starclime moves freely through rock, jazz, soul, R&B,EDM, classical music, ambient, experimental music, hip-hop, and musical traditions from around the world. Rather than remaining within a single genre, the project absorbs the colour, rhythm, culture and atmosphere of different forms of music, reshaping them into something new. The changing seasons. Journeys towards unfamiliar places. Memories of somewhere to return to. The distance between people. Feelings that lie beyond words. These landscapes and emotions flow throughout the music of starclime. Some things can only be expressed through song. Others only begin to reveal themselves when words disappear. For starclime, vocal works and instrumentals therefore belong equally to the same musical world. Each member brings a different musical background and a different perspective to every work, while some continue to discover and develop their own musical identity. Rather than preserving a single finished form, starclime allows the music itself to grow through change. starclime does not seek simply to add more genres. Its aim is to renew the way music itself can be perceived through the meeting of different musical worlds. Towards music that has yet to be named. Towards landscapes we have yet to discover. starclime will continue to present new ways of seeing and hearing music.
