Artist Profile
Akebono Jirushi
Formed around Tetsu Tominari in Hakata, Akebono Jirushi relocated to Tokyo in 1984. In 1985, they released a three-track single titled [Akebono Jirushi] on Telegraph Records, followed by the album [Paradise Mambo] on DIW label's Zoom imprint in 1987. Although they went on hiatus in 1988, a series of coincidences led to the release of their second album, [Oideyo] in 2025.
