This is the first album by Interlogue, a neo-pop unit from Kyoto consisting of Mariko (Vo) and Sosuke Ogino (Key/Produce).
The songs feature catchy melodies with a jazz essence. The band name Interlogue is a coined word meaning "a small story between us".
The album opens with "Voyage," the song that led to the formation of the unit, followed by "Yoru ni tokete," with its attractive solos by each part, "Parasol," which shows an electro-musical aspect with scenes expanding from the lyrics, "Ototoi," in which a string quartet creates a sense of the world, and "Hakoniwa," which spins a mellow melody in an urban sound.
The album was produced over a period of three years through trial and error, despite being forced to change the form of their activities due to the Corona disaster. The album is a fresh new work that shows how the members are inspired by each other throughout the album.
