Itto Taira
Itto Taira is a Japanese spoken word artist exploring the quiet mysteries beneath everyday life through voice, words, and sound. Writing and composing his own work, he moves between speech and song, music and poetry. His work explores human desire, contradiction, small moments of humor, and prayer. Drawing inspiration in part from Buddhist thought, he gives voice to questions about being alive through the textures and rhythms of the Japanese language.
