Set to a cinematic and powerful sound, Blue Lion portrays another self that lives within us.
The Blue Lion in the title symbolizes the self within, an existence that can become either an ally or an enemy depending on one's state of mind.
Rather than blaming others, the song is about facing your true self and taking control of the wheel of your own destiny.
Inspired by the concept of Jupiter Return in astrology, a cycle often associated with major turning points in life, the cover artwork was also created by Kohki Kawahara himself.

Artist Profile

  • KOHKI KAWAHARA

    Singer-songwriter from Wakayama, known as Kohki. With an acoustic guitar at the core, his sound blends J-POP and R&B, carefully capturing gentle feelings of love and weaving them into songs to share. In 2023, he was selected as one of the national Top 4 in ARTISTS LEAGUE for his unique expression that fuses music and art. He also won second place in the "Masaharu Fukuyama Singing Championship!", gaining high recognition for his vocal ability. His notable works include Aimo Kawarazu, the theme song for a TikTok short drama; Aiaigasa, depicting the life story of his grandparents; and Mistral, a song about the tenderness of everyday life. In addition, Aoi Lion was chosen as the theme song for the BS TV drama Hikari. His latest release Mistral also features a self-produced animated music video that has been drawing attention. As an art creator under the name "mitsutaka," he designs his own CD jackets, music videos, merchandise, and murals, delivering color and inspiration to daily life through both music and art.
