the Bench
A four-piece melodic rock band from Chiba formed in 2013. Their rock sound is characterized by down-to-earth Japanese lyrics that leave you feeling positive after listening to them. In September 2017, they released the two-song "Take Free Single" exclusively at venues for free. On December 10, 2018, they released the digital single "Day by day," available exclusively online. It has become a staple at live shows. On February 13, 2026, they released their first three-song single in about seven years, "Beyond the time."
