Feverish vibes, foggy minds - and the strange urge to dance.

After 12 years in the music scene, Tokushima-based singer Akimi Inoue releases his long-awaited first EP: "39.5 degree DANCE"
Drawing from his roots in hardcore and funk, Inoue delivers four addictive pop tracks packed with humor, groove, and emotional weight.
Featuring songs written for Shikoku Broadcasting's Gojical! TV segment, including "Yume no Naka" and "Tabi no Hajimari"the chaotic fever dream anthem "39.5 degree DANCE" and a heartfelt ballad "Hito to Shite" dedicated to the people we care about.

This is not just music it's a prescription for the heat and haze of modern life.

Artist Profile

  • Akimi Inoue

Akimi Inoue is a singer based in Tokushima, Japan. Named by his father after that legendary artist, he grew up half-resisting the name - but somehow ended up holding a guitar and singing his heart out. With roots in hardcore and funk, Inoue blends emotional honesty and subtle humor into understated pop songs that quietly stay with the listener. His music may feel unpolished at times - but that's exactly what makes it sincere, relatable, and gently powerful.
