Love songs are not only about romance. Encounters, farewells, and the time we share along the way *for Two Stars*, the first album by Story, brings together "another kind of love song" that gently embraces the many emotions of life.

Formed in 1993 in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka, Japan, Story is an original band known for its unique style in which performing members change from song to song. The title track "for Two Stars," originally written in 1991 to celebrate a friend's new beginning, has long been cherished as a timeless wedding song that continues to shine today.

The album features songs that reflect the delicate moments of life: "Yume no Story" and "Feelin' good time," which express feelings toward a loved one living far away; "sayonara," born from the experience of loss; and "Umi -with you-," an introspective piece colored by lingering memories.

In moments of quiet loneliness or tenderness, this album offers a gentle light by your side - a collection of songs whose warmth remains unchanged through time.

  • Story

Formed in 1993, "Story" is an original band based in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka. Over more than 30 years, they have continued to create a diverse range of music through their unique style of changing performing members for each song. The band name "Story" reflects their wish to create music that brings a unique story to the heart of every listener. Based on fragments of vocalist Kimoto Shigeru's life, their songs are delivered with lyrics that cherish a sense of "yohaku" (empty space), allowing them to overlap with the memories and feelings of the audience. Their annual "Story Winter Solstice Live" celebrated its 32nd anniversary in 2025. Today, they continue to face their music with unwavering passion and sincerity.
