The most energetic high school band, "Pakiruka," releases their 5th single!

"Watashi," is a song that delicately expresses the complex emotions that high school students experience. This track captures the mix of youthful anxiety, inner conflict, love, and obsession through sharp lyrics and melodies.

The lyrics skillfully portray emotions like "jealousy" and "desire," depicting the struggle of feeling dependent on someone and the pain of one's own immaturity. The recurring phrase, "You smiled, and I can never grow up," strikes at the core of the protagonist emotional state.

In the chorus, the song conveys the emotional tug-of-war and the anxiety within the relationship, resonating deeply with listeners through its powerful sound. The song vividly portrays the difficulty of facing reality and the fragility of love, all while being delivered with Pakiruka signature energetic rock sound, which captures the volatile emotions of high school life.

The band sound is simple but strong, with guitars and drums supporting the vocals, effectively conveying the emotional swings. As the song progresses, the changes in tempo and dynamics pull the listener in, maintaining tension until the very end.
