"Quiet," the first full-length album by "dry river string" the project of Yuzuru Hoshikawa, frontman of the legendary Kyoto-based band "up and coming" is finally available for digital release.

Recorded by engineer Takaaki Mino (toe), the album features a remarkable lineup of guest musicians, including Takashi Kashikura (toe / the HIATUS on Drums), Shinpei Ruike on Trumpet, and Akiko Igaki (tayutau) on Violin and Clarinet. This 10-track collection is a true monument of Japanese post-rock and indie folk, highlighted by songs like "nasty," which showcases Kashikura's dynamic yet intricate drumming, and "silent, truth," where lyrics pulsate within the stillness.
