  Born in 1995 in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan, MsyBaby grew up as the older twin of three brothers. His journey as a rapper began in 2014 as a member of Baysound, a group consisting of one MC and one DJ. Inspired by a one-man live performance from DS455, one of the most iconic hip-hop groups to emerge from Yokohama, MsyBaby made the decision to dedicate himself to life as a rapper. Raised in Yokohama, a city deeply connected to West Coast culture, he naturally absorbed its sound, attitude, and aesthetic, eventually transforming those influences into his own musical identity. With West Coast Hip-Hop at the core of his sound, MsyBaby moves effortlessly between hard-hitting records and smooth, melodic tracks. Years of experience and evolution have shaped a style that is unmistakably his own. Along the way, MsyBaby faced a life-changing moment when a workplace accident resulted in the loss of vision in his right eye. Rather than allowing adversity to stop his journey, he turned the experience into another part of his story, channeling hardship, determination, and real-life experience into his music and identity as an artist. Following the breakup of Baysound in 2023, he adopted the name MsyBaby and officially began his solo career. In September 2023, he released his first single, With U, accompanied by a music video directed by Dexfilmz. In 2024, he followed with his debut album, GOD EYEZ, marking another major chapter in his evolution as a solo artist. In April 2024, MsyBaby released ROOTS 045. Built around a modern West Coast sound infused with Talkbox, the record represents his deep connection to his hometown of Yokohama. The number 045 represents the city area code and reflects his pride, determination, and commitment to his roots. The music video features Dakinee, a Yokohama-based dance team with a combined TikTok following of over 1.91 million. The video went on to reach over 140,000 views on YouTube, further expanding the presence of MsyBaby beyond the local scene. In May 2026, he released TEENAGE LOVE feat. KIKI, showcasing a more melodic side of his evolving sound. The following month, he joined forces with B-SPANNER for HONEY BEE by MsyBaby and B-SPANNER, continuing to expand his musical range while staying grounded in the West Coast foundation that has defined his journey.
