Rooted in UK Garage, Breaks, and Bassline, Tokyo-based producer and DJ SKYTOPIA continues to make his mark on the city's growing UK bass music scene, having supported international artists including MPH, Riordan, ATRIP, and msft at their Tokyo shows. His latest EP, Inner Layers, features the melodic yet driving 4x4 grooves of "Denim Skies" and the bass-heavy 2-step banger "Into The Unknown," alongside previously released tracks "Rain" and "Pressure," both emerging as underground anthems. Exploring the emotions and musical roots that shape his Inner Layers, SKYTOPIA channels these personal influences into a distinctly Tokyo-born take on contemporary UKG. Artwork and visuals by Ikuho Tamura further bring the EP's sonic world to life, blending music and imagery into a cohesive artistic vision.
