Today marks the end of the year!
A lot has happened this year, but I realized that there are people whose birthdays fall on New Year's Eve.
The next day is New Year's Day, and I felt a sense of celebration.
After that, various words started to come to mind,
I wrote them down on paper, rearranged them, and came up with lyrics.
I sang my own birthday song in doo-wop,
and it evoked a fun, happy image.
After a few trials and errors, I finally finished it.
Even if it wasn't New Year's Eve, a regular birthday song would have been fine,
but since the next day is New Year's Day,
I felt it would be doubly auspicious,
so I wrote it with the intention of celebrating both the birthday and the song!
