THE HARD TIMES, a band rooted in the sounds of 1970s-80s soul and Japanese New Music, will release their second single, "Let's Meet as Evening Falls", on [2026/07/11].
Drawing inspiration from early 1970s soul music and Japanese kayōkyoku, the track delivers a warm, immersive sound characterized by rich tones and timeless arrangements.
Mixing and mastering were handled by Eugene Takino, marking his second collaboration with the band following their previous release.
Set against the backdrop of a city as its lights begin to glow at dusk, the song reflects on memories that unexpectedly resurface and the lingering loneliness they leave behind.
