"I am Mt.Kinka" is a song inspired by the collaboration between embroidery artist Mayumi Hoshino(Mayumi) and Ink painting artist Toyokuni Honda.

"Future Mt.Kinka" was created based on"The Sea of Tomiji" the picture book about the experience of Tomiji Saito, who survived the huge tsunami, set in Ayukawa Beach, Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, which was severely damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11, 2011.
This is a completely new collaboration of embroidery and ink painting created by Mayumi Hoshino(Mayumi) and Toyokuni Honda with their hearts and minds.

Musician Kimie Fukuhara resonated with this idea and created "I am Mt.Kinka" as an image song when she produced videos and music based on her work.
It expresses the vitality and fun atmosphere of Mt.Kinka that you can feel from the work.
It depicts a paradise-like scene woven by deer and monkeys that seem to jump vividly, and whales and fish swimming around them in a bright and enjoyable tone. We sincerely hope that such a wonderful future of Mt.Kinka, where many people visit Mt.Kinka with a bright heart while singing and dancing, will come.
A video of "Future Mt.Kinka" is shown at the "Whale Town Oshika" ferry stop in Ayukawa Beach, Ishinomaki City.
I would appreciate it if you could take a look at it when you take the ferry to Mt.Kinka.
