The song is about a protagonist who has lived his life worrying about how others think he should live, but now throws away all common sense, normality, education, and appearances and runs away. However, this escape doesn't represent defeat; it represents a positive escape in order to enjoy his life to the fullest, in other words, "moving forward."
I wanted to express this nuance, so I created a song with an upbeat, rock melody and melody that would uplift people.
