I walk the streets

Leaping from Hachōbori

With the taiko drummer by his side

Helping those in need—

Kondō Umon is that kind of man

In the mud, trampled underfoot

A lone flower blooms, apart from the crowd

No one sees it

No one—except for one

If there is someone in need to the east

He will go and help

Never seeking recognition

He believes that is enough

He desires no honor, no praise

The one who stands alone—

The silent Umon

For those lost in sorrow

He eases their suffering

For those oppressed by greed

He appears and secretly saves them

Always silent, always reserved

Perhaps that is just who Umon is

Carrying both solitude and hope

He rescues only the smallest flowers

Yet one day, those flowers will gather

Covering the fields in bloom

He never seeks gratitude
