    バンドmagoo swim(マグースイム)のリーダー（ヴォーカル・作詞作曲）として音楽キャリアをスタート。SMAPのシングル曲「Fly」(詞・曲)に始まり、最近ではアイドルグループ ”フィロソフィーのダンス” 等に楽曲提供をしつつ、シンガーソングライターとして活動している。古き良きソウル・ミュージック、ファンクから現代のR&B、HipHopまで、ブラックミュージックのリズムをベースに、独自のメロディーと言葉の語感を追及し、華やかさだけではない、ポップスの影に光を当てる曲の仕上げ方が他にはない特徴・持ち味となっている。
