作られた今作はYESIの初となる
Alternative Rockという形で制作された。
Hiphopの枠だけではとどまらず、
様々な楽曲に影響受け数々のジャンルに
挑戦してきたYESIだが、
今作はかなりの想いを込めて
制作に励み、制作期間は約2ヶ月ほどで
全作品が仕上がった。
アルバムの名前Beehive in Cancerの由来は
YESIの生まれが蟹座な事から命名し、
ビーハイブとは蟹座の中に銀河の名前で
宇宙にまつわる話で統一された
アルバムとなっている。
