The track kicks off as a catchy pop number with an intricate odd-meter signature. Initially, it was titled 'Falling Down' because the opening guitar riff was crafted to evoke the image of someone tumbling headlong down a flight of stairs. However, as soon as the recording session began, I instinctively changed the title to 'Rise Up' to channel momentum for future growth and bring a surge of positive energy. As a genuine instrumental piece, I believe this is a highly enjoyable tune, whether played within a band ensemble or performed live in front of an audience.

Artist Profile

  • Ichiro Uehara

A guitarist and composer who fuses the "structural beauty" of architectural design with raw musical emotion. Having led numerous major residential and public projects, including hospitals and government offices, he infuses his guitar sounds and track structures with the logical depth of the "Defense-in-Depth" (DID) safety design theory he pioneered.
