Artist Profile

  • Altar Klee

Altar Klee is a rock band based in Nagoya, known for their unique style of switching instruments and vocals depending on the song. The band was formed in April 2022 when all four members coincidentally ended up in the same class after joining their high school's rock music club. Shortly after, the band expanded to five members and began posting videos of their performances in classrooms on YouTube. They gained significant attention with covers such as "Yoake to Hotaru," "Idol," and "Mephisto." The band was even featured on the radio program "All Night Nippon," where producer Nobuyuki Sakuma introduced them as "a remarkable high school band I happened to discover." They also collaborated with singer-songwriter Yuuri, and their YouTube subscriber count surpassed 120,000, generating an extraordinary amount of buzz for a high school band. After releasing a few original songs, the band took a break from activities to focus on university entrance exams. In April 2025, following their entrance to university, the band transitioned to a four-member lineup and resumed their activities.
