This album includes the world premiere recordings of the earliest piano suites by Yoritsuné Matsudaïra (1907-2001) - Souvenirs d'enfance (1928-30/rev. 1985?) and Pièces facials pour les enfants (1928?-1942?/rev. 1970?) - together with the first Japanese recording of Kaleidoscope, Op. 18 (1917-18) by the British composer Eugene Goossens (1893-1962), a work that inspired Matsudaïra to compose Souvenirs d'enfance.
Originally released in March 2016, this edition appears here in a newly redesigned release.
Recorded on 17-18 December 2015 at the Kakogawa Wellness Park Arabesque Hall.
