"Alternative Soundscapes" series is a soundscape work created with the concept of melting and layering the boundaries between environmental sounds and electronic sounds.
This first installment in the series combines sounds of cities and nature collected through field recordings in Japan, China, Germany, France, and other parts of the world, with electronic sounds spun from modular synths and other hardware.
And it is designed using binaural effects and other software. It is a pleasant and sophisticated electronic ambient piece that reflects various scenes.
The cover art is by photographer Yuri Yamada.

    Sountriveは音楽家・サウンドデザイナーである佐藤公俊のソロプロジェクト。 世界各地で採集したフィールドレコーディング素材と、モジュラーシンセやソフトウェアから紡ぎ出される電子音を組み合わせた楽曲制作を手がける。そのスキルを生かしたワークスは、様々な公共空間や商業施設・オフィスのサウンドスケープデザインや「ピエールエルメ 」「エレコム」「FUJIFILM」などのWebコンテンツの楽曲制作、FMラジオ局「J-WAVE」がRANGE ROVERやTOKYO CREATIVE SALONとコラボレーションしたスペシャルプログラムのサウンドプロデュース、東京芸術劇場で公演された舞台『カノン』をはじめとする舞台芸術・ダンスカンパニーへ劇伴提供など多岐に渡る。 第21回文化庁メディア芸術祭 優秀賞受賞の「INDUSTRIAL JP」へはトラック提供をおこない、同楽曲のYoutube動画再生回数は45万回を超えている。またサウンドデザイナーとして携わり、全国の工場でのレコーディングからミキシング〜マスタリングを手掛けた「INDUSTRIAL JP ASMR」では第25回文化庁メディア芸術祭 エンターテイメント部門の審査委員会推薦作品に選出された。 ミックス・マスタリングエンジニアとしてのノウハウやハードウェアの知識を生かして、音楽専門誌への寄稿やアーティストのライブサポートもおこなっている。
