"Daisy in the Wind" is a gentle and heartfelt folk song from Hiroko Konishi's upcoming album The Light You Left Behind. Performed as a live acoustic piece and captured through an analog session recording, the song keeps its sound honest and unadorned. With only voice, words, and the warmth of the guitar, it quietly carries a simple message of hope.In the lyrics, the daisy is a small flower blooming on a hill. It is touched by rain, moved by the wind, and yet it remains in the same place, watching, calling, and believing. Without blame or bitterness, the daisy becomes a symbol of quiet devotion, lost voices, forgotten dreams, and the kindness that still lives inside the human heart. "I am just a daisy swaying, a daisy in the wind." There is not weakness in that image, but a quiet strength. This is a song for anyone, anywhere in the world, who remembers someone, longs for a place inside the heart, or still believes in a small light called hope.
