  • Miki Ishioka

    Debuted as a singer-songwriter from "Polydor Records" in 1991. She has released 9 singles and 5 albums. She won the Newcomer Award at the "Nippon Television Newcomer Music Festival". She has been ranked number one in popular female personality for two consecutive years since 1994 by the magazine "FM STATION". Her love for radio and her silky talk are well received. Since 1998 she has been active as a flamenco dancer.(she studied under Adrián Galia, Carmela Greco and others) In 2001, she led "Miki Ishioka's flamenco class". Along with classical flamenco, she is currently presenting Japan's first collaboration between various music and flamenco [Entertainment Flamenco]. She is known for her choreography and performances as a unique flamenco dancer. In 2016, she won the Best Performance Award as a flamenco dancer on "TokyoTower TV". From 2020 Komae FM (Komaraji) [Mudani!! Genki!! Ishioka Miki!! ] Revived as a radio personality. In September 2021, a live performance will be held to celebrate her 30th anniversary of music activities. (After that, held regularly once a year) On November 11, 2023, she released her first new song in 25 years, "Kage to Hikari."
