Yasuhiro Soda's creative process is based on strict constraints.
He uses only a guitar and effect pedals. All recordings are done in a single take, and there is no editing.
While these conditions limit the range of expression, they also leave room for unpredictable fluctuations in the work.
The structure in which the result is determined simultaneously with the performance is closer to observing the circumstances under which sound is generated than to designing sound.
