[TOYOMOS] is a collaborative album by Yamaguchi-born beatmaker and artist m-al and GIMME CHOCOLATE, a spiced-chocolate specialty shop based in Hofu, Yamaguchi.

Across 11 tracks, synthesizers, keyboards, low-slung beats, and atmospheric reverb evoke sounds rising from deep within the land and the footsteps of the people who call it home. Skaai joins as a guest on the closing track, "Own Your Walk." Moving fluidly between rap and melody, his voice gives shape to the album's message of moving forward at your own pace.

A work that brings TOYOMOS' vision-"RESONATE FROM THE LOCAL"-to life through a sound where hip-hop, electronic music, and ambient intersect.
