Whether it's a friendship or a romantic relationship, I think there are people out there who get trapped by the idea of "happiness" - constantly comparing themselves to others, underestimating their own worth, and quietly hurting because of it.

I have a friend like that. And honestly, so do I.

I wrote this song for both of us - to say: it's okay for us to just be who we are.
