The lyrics are about missing someone and having your dreams shattered, but the song itself is upbeat. I wrote it with the feeling that things will be okay from now on, with a bright heart.
With the theme of inventing something new from the old, I used the essence of city pop and modern techniques to create a song. Although the lyrics have an old-fashioned feel, I aimed for the song to transcend the modern era and be something you can listen to for a long time.
