Singer-songwriter Masahiro Sengoku, known for his genre-crossing versatility and soulful voice, joins forces with Osaka-based beatmaker/producer Nomura Bousi for a collaborative EP.
As its title suggests, "Melt & Flow" embodies the idea of "melting and flowing." Against the backdrop of shifting values in an ever-changing era, the work paints a sonic landscape rooted in both flexibility and spirituality.
The intersection of their sensibilities gives rise to an urban-modern sound-one that carries the groove reminiscent of contemporary neo-soul, while revealing glimpses of boyish playfulness. Each track unfolds with narrative consistency, flowing seamlessly from beginning to end.
This collaboration invites listeners into a timeless state of intoxication, offering a new musical experience crafted by two creators at the forefront of their generation.
Singer-songwriter from Gifu, Japan. Rooted in R&B and Soul, their music is defined by a genre-fluid approach, a rich and expressive vocal tone, and delicate emotional nuance, earning support from a wide range of listeners. They released their debut single What Is Love in 2020, followed by their first EP MUGEN in 2022. In 2025, they released the collaborative EP Melt & Flow with Osaka-based track maker and producer Nomura Boushi, further expanding their artistic scope. They have also actively released numerous collaborative works with various artists, showcasing a broad presence across diverse music scenes. Currently based in Osaka, Japan.
Bousi Nomura is a Osaka based trackmaker and producer who explores rhythm, unity, and the kind of groove that naturally makes people move. Drawing from a wide range of influences Blues, Rock, Funk, Hip-Hop, Soul, Reggae, and R&B he crafts alternative sounds from his creative hub, Bousi Studio. Centering his production around guitar and MPC, Boushi is also an active performer who brings energy both in the studio and on stage. In recent years, he has collaborated with members of Soulflex including ZIN, robe, Funky, and RaB and has produced for rising artists such as Masahiro Sengoku, among others. Constantly evolving, Boushi continues to provide tracks and production for a diverse range of artists, shaping the next wave of contemporary Japanese sound.
