The Pines of Challenge

Three pine trees stand in the twilight.

Moving forward does not always mean rushing ahead.
Sometimes, we wait for the wind, wait for the season, and take root while waiting for the moment when it is finally time to take on the challenge.

Chosen Goyomatsu is a song about the will to keep taking on new challenges.

The sixteenth-night moon, maple leaves, a golden moon, a great tree, sasanqua blossoms, and autumn foliage.
As the seasons change, the pine trees remain standing, unchanged.

The years we accumulate become growth rings,
and those rings eventually become armor.

As long as you have your health, is that not enough?

Holding the words of my grandmother close to my heart,
I look forward once again, carrying with me the nights when I rushed, the moments when I lost my way, and everything in between.

The three towering Chosen Goyomatsu do not urge anyone to hurry.

They simply stand in silence, waiting for the season of each person to arrive.

Even the time spent waiting can become wings.

My season is still ahead.

There is still so much life left to live.

The best is yet to come.
