Additionally, they gained recognition by winning the Otodama Grand Prix in 2023, showcasing their exceptional talent. Vocalist J contributes extensively to the band, handling everything from songwriting to logo and jacket design, as well as music video production, infusing the band with his unique worldview. The other vocalist, Sig, excels in creating diverse songs, incorporating various elements into his music, which transcends traditional rock genres. His work resonates deeply with audiences around the world. Drummer Bmo, a friend of J for over a decade, has been collaborating with J in band activities for years. His personality and dedication to his craft, influenced by black music, add depth to Chemiguri's songs, notably in tracks like "Flag." Bassist Yips, well-versed in electronic and ambient music, brings a rich background as a former guitarist to his distinctive playing style. Guitarist Minase wields his pick with a force that seems to exorcise evil spirits, delivering powerful performances that captivate and cleanse the souls of listeners. Chemical Glitch is a band that leverages the individuality and characteristics of each member to explore a wide range of musical genres.
