Chemical Glitch
In November 2019, based in Nagoya. They started by releasing their first song, "Hikari," on YouTube simultaneously with their launch. They are an alternative band with an eye on overseas markets. Each member has their own unique personality. J, the vocalist, contributes widely to the band, including songwriting, logo and jacket design, and music video production, incorporating his own worldview into the band. The other vocalist, Sig, is skilled at creating a wide variety of songs, incorporating different elements into each one, making it difficult to categorize their music as just rock. He has a sensibility that works well internationally. Bmo, the drummer, has been friends with J for 10 years and has been in a band with him for a long time. He has a friendly personality and is particular about his playing style, drawing from his love of black music, as can be heard in songs like "Flag." Yips, the bassist, is knowledgeable about electronic and ambient music and used to be a guitarist. His background and experience are reflected in his playing style. Minase, the guitarist, is said to exorcise evil spirits by holding a pick in a fist imbued with spiritual energy and playing his guitar. The evil spirits that are caught in the sound are said to be cleansed as they raise their index finger and pinky and shake their heads. This band utilizes the unique characteristics of each member to create a wide range of genres of music. They prioritize enjoyment in their activities as Chemical Glitch and work hard every day to create music. Although the production process can take time, they carefully work on their creations, and continue to produce satisfying works that reflect their life experiences.
