このアルバムはカシオやヤマハ、カワイのミニキーボードやデジタルギターを使って作りました。
曲ごとにメインで使う楽器を1つに絞っています。
オリジナルのプリセット音とプリセットリズムパターン、外部エフェクトとしてテープエコーやスプリングリバーブも使用して楽器の魅力を引き出せたと思っています。
楽器の発売時期が1980年代のものが多いため80'sレトロシンセポップなサウンドになりました。
「月台」とは台湾華語で駅のプラットフォームの意。

dropは2001年に東京・池袋で結成された日本のデュオです。メンバーはj（作詞作曲、ギター、ベース、ドラム、キーボード、プログラミング）とa（作詞作曲、ボーカル、ギター、ベース、キーボード、チェロ）の2人です。楽曲は主に自宅スタジオで録音され、mellotron、clavinet、solina、jupiter-8といった古い楽器にヴィンテージエフェクターのエッセンスが加えられています。
