The second in a series of acoustic single releases from singer-songwriter KIMIKA, who has gone from being an apparel shop assistant at Shibuya 109 to performing with Lady Gaga!

"Freedom" was co-written with former Japan national football team player Naohiro Ishikawa and released in 2020.

A family supporter of FC Tokyo since childhood, KIMIKA's music was used as the theme song for FC Tokyo's cheering program
"As a result, she developed a close friendship with FC Tokyo club communicator Naohiro Ishikawa, who is also a music lover, and they decided to create a song that would cheer up fans, supporters and Japan through the Corona disaster.

The acoustic version of the song makes it more sympathetic with its positive lyrics about making your own way in the world.
