Áminaは東京を拠点に活動する日本とスーダンにルーツを持つR&Bシンガー。幼少期は80年代のオールドスクールなポップス、R&B、ジャズに親しみ、10代はオルタナティブUKロック、上京後は70年代のディスコ音楽やブラックミュージックに大きく影響され、その低い音域と独特な声色を活かし都内を中心に活動している。ブラックミュージック特有のリズム感やスキャットなどを織り込んだ歌唱法を軸に、UKロックに影響を受けたボーカルスタイルを織り交ぜることで、唯一無二の歌声を有している。近年ライブ活動と並行して自身の楽曲制作を行っており、今後期待すべきアーティストの1人である。
