Truth to Turn Away
Zen 101
Zen 101, Tokyo-based electronic music artist, who performs with synthesizers, a looping station and a beat machine, is releasing a series of singles monthly for four months starting December 2021. In this second single "Truth to turn away", Zen 101 is singing about her lost love. Having a Jazz pianist Marie Takeda on piano, Zen's reserved yet emotional vocal line creates an organic track perfect for winter.

Zen 101 sings and speaks about love, gender, and her authentic self unapologetically, flowing between spoken-words and melodies effortlessly on the tracks. Debuted at Make Music New York in 2019, Zen has been performing around Tokyo before/after the quarantine. In 2020 summer, Zen released the self-titled EP/record and has been releasing singles actively since then.
