cocuri
cocuri is a solo project by Akihiro Ueda. Through songwriting that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly new, he creates music that transcends genre boundaries and develops a unique musical landscape. In 2014, he released PINK, followed by from mountainside in 2017 under his own name, Akihiro Ueda. After taking a one-year hiatus from musical activities in 2019, he resumed releasing works in 2022 under the name cocuri. Based consistently in Okayama, he is a rare artist who continues to express words and melodies born from everyday life through a variety of creative approaches.
