As we go through life, we naturally come to cherish certain people,
make friends, and find time to appreciate
the love of our family.
Those feelings stem from a sense of "cherishing" someone,
and in the moment when that turns into a desire to "protect" them,
I turned those emotions into a song-this track, "The One I Want to Protect,"
was written as a sequel to "The One I Cherish,"
released in April 2024, after a two-year hiatus.
