This "YELLOW" is the second EP from Tokyo-based Japanese emotive post-hardcore band TIED KNOTS, their solo release in eight years since their first album "the end of the rainbow" released in 2015, and includes four previously unreleased tracks. The EP will be distributed prior to the physical release, and all the lyrics are also available to the public.

The emotional sound, backed by the background of each member who has been active in the Japanese punk and hardcore scene for a long time, reveals the wild fluctuation of passion underlying the lyricism, and touches the heart of any listener. The lyrics are written in Japanese, which blend perfectly with the sound, and the way the pronunciation and syllables are captured is close to that of English, creating a unique worldview. While tracing the path of evolution and change taken by the predecessors of post-hardcore, so-called emo, and grunge in Japan and abroad in the past, the band has successfully achieved its own originality. The lyrics, which can be read as a warning and an ironic commentary on the conflicts swirling within the self and modern society, are also worthy of attention.
