Ludio. Born in Tokyo and raised in NY, he is an artist with a background steeped in the cultures of both cities.

Since his early days on the scene, he has collaborated with new-generation key players such as Only U, Hezron, and Siero. His exceptional skill and presence quickly brought him to the forefront of the scene's core.

In October 2025, he released the introspective EP "I BLEED CULTURE," a work that detailed his personal roots and deep, blood-felt respect for the culture, closing the prologue to his next chapter.

And on November 26, Ludio's career enters its "main chapter." He releases his highly anticipated album, "GOLDEN BOY." This is his "homecoming" and his "confession."

The man once called "Golden Boy" now crowns this work with a title that marks his return to origin. The album is built on a powerful duality: the overwhelming skill and confidence of tracks like "MITOMA KAORU" and the title track "GOLDEN BOY," contrasted with the raw fear and conflict he carries inside, as revealed in "INTERLUDE."

Ludio's resolve to tackle such heavy themes at the young age of 20 is also reflected in his assembled production team. The core of the sound is driven by 808 Edi$on, the young ace known for his collaborations with world wide skippa; Yam2, renowned for providing tracks for LJ; june and krynX, who are shaking the scene with their work for MIKADO; and sid. This formidable lineup, currently dominating Japan's music scene from underground to mainstream, supports Ludio's versatile flow with cutting-edge beats.

Released during Thanksgiving week, a season of gratitude, the album features only one guest, chosen by an artist who has resonated with many. That guest is Only U, the rapper with whom he has the longest-standing relationship and to whom he feels the deepest sense of gratitude. This isn't about the fake connections the world celebrates; it is Ludio's answer, a demonstration of true loyalty.

Through his experiences in NY, the encounters within the scene, and a deep dialogue with himself, Ludio has arrived. Now, the living, breathing proof of what it means to be the "Golden Boy" begins.

Artist Profile

  • Ludio

Born in 2005, Ludio spent his early years in Tokyo. At the age of 7, he moved to New York where he spent his youth, and in 2019, he relocated to Osaka to embark on his music career. Handling every aspect from recording to mixing, he creates all his tracks freestyle. After releasing music on SoundCloud, his high-quality work gradually garnered attention, and from 2021 onwards, he expanded his activities commuting between Tokyo and other locations. On January 23, 2022, he featured on Tim Pepperoni's track "Chrome Hearts," and on January 27, he released his debut EP "Can't Deny," produced entirely by the emerging producer Puckafall, featuring guest appearances from noted US artists Trapgokrazy, Shay$hak, and FarrellB. In 2023, Ludio collaborated on the EP "Wanted 2" with Only U and Hezron, continuing to expand his involvement in music production. His sound, characterized by strong electronic elements, offers a refreshing musical experience. Despite his recent debut, Ludio has already been featured on various popular playlists like +81 connect, establishing himself as one of the most anticipated artists in the Japanese music scene this year.
