This four-piece rock band hails from Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Formed by members who were in the same university light music club, they began performing live in January 2025. They are expanding their activities throughout the Kanto region, with a base in Mito. With roots in Japanese alternative rock, their music is characterized by lyrical lyrics and melodies that balance stillness and movement. The band's name, "Pop Reissue," refers to the fact that, since many of their lyrics are dark, they wanted to at least keep their music pop. The name also reflects their desire to reconstruct and reissue the music they've listened to up until now in their own way, and borrows a phrase from the film "All About Lily Chou-Chou." *Live information and footage are regularly updated on Instagram.
