In 2025, Yasutaka Okada presented a unique and profound soundscape with his first solo album, inside. His long-awaited new single, Saisei / Lei, was born from a vision he experienced while staying in the Yaeyama Islands of Okinawa.

The track resonates with the vibrant life force of Yaeyama through field recordings, which harmonize with the waves of Okada's own instrumentation. It is a sonic realization of a prayer for a world filled not with conflict and competition, but with the joy of sharing.

    Yasutaka Okada Performer Born in Kyoto in 1985. contrabass/daxophone/synthesizer/guitar/piano/field recording/etc... Plays all the sounds of his own work. Releases the energy of the universe, the afterlife, synchronicity with ethnic consciousness, and connection with the natural world as sound waves into the world. His expression, which feels like watching a single movie, invites us to a deeper world by closing our eyes and blocking one of our senses. As a member of the band kott, formed by Shin Konokawa, the former drummer of jizue, they released their first album "kott" in 2023 and performed at the FUJIROCK FESTIVAL 2023.
