Lyric

Lilniina has released her new single, "tokidoki." Centered on the "emo jerk" style, the track blends sadness and lightness into a seamless sound. The title "tokidoki" overlays the everyday nuance of the Japanese word for "sometimes" with the fleeting moments of a heart swaying in love, condensing Lilniina's signature sweet yet slightly twisted worldview into a simple word. Featuring lyrics that weave English and Chinese into a Japanese base alongside catchy phrasing, the song captures her cute yet sentimental sensibility throughout. Having expressed her unique sense of "kawaii" across Y2K, Heisei, and internet culture, Lilniina has recently expanded her reach into Asia, including China, making "tokidoki" a fresh single that symbolizes her evolving musical identity today.
