Run Toward Tomorrow

Hoshitarou Akeno&the dark side

"Thunder Kid: The Lightning Man - Original Soundtrack"
is a soundtrack for a television series that never existed,
yet feels deeply familiar.

Inspired by 1970s Japanese tokusatsu hero dramas,
this album recreates the sound of that era-
bold brass-driven main themes,
gentle and nostalgic ending songs,
tense battle instrumentals,
and the dark, ominous motifs of the villain organization Black Volt.

At its core are the themes of
Thunder Kid, the silent hero who runs through the night,
and Storm Saber, his ally who arrives like the wind
to turn the tide of battle.

Rather than standing in front of the story,
this music lives beside it-
supporting images, silence, and imagination.

This is not merely retro.
It is a reconstruction of memory.
A soundtrack for a show that may never have aired,
but somehow always existed.
