daisanseiが放つ新曲「Videotape Waltz」は、過ぎ去った時間への執着と、それを音楽へと昇華させる切実な願いを描いたミディアムナンバー。心地よい3拍子のリズムに乗せて綴られるのは、窓から差し込む陽光、枯れ葉舞う街角、そして「ビデオテープを巻き戻す」ように何度も繰り返される記憶の断片です。「Time flows so mellow（時間は穏やかに流れる）」と歌いながらも、心はどこか「くすんだスクリーン」の中の影を探し続けている――。そんな誰しもが抱える、言葉にできない喪失感を、優しくも鮮やかなアンサンブルで包み込みます。本作には、daisanseiの定番曲である「ルートユー」を新録した楽曲と、英語、インドネシア語バージョンを収録しています。

    daisansei, led by guitarist and vocalist Ataku, started in the summer of 2019. They create pop songs that capture small sparks of everyday life with the motto, "A modest touch of the dramatic for ordinary days." daisansei, dipimpin oleh gitaris sekaligus vokalis Ataku, mulai berkarya pada musim panas 2019. Dengan semboyan "Sedikit sentuhan dramatis untuk hari-hari biasa," mereka menciptakan lagu pop yang menangkap kilau kecil dalam keseharian.
