I wrote this song about two years ago.

Although I've performed it many times live, I was never able to release it as a recording.

Now, I'm finally able to share it with you.

One day, I looked in the mirror and felt a little discouraged by the changes that come with getting older.

Around that time, I was even struggling to find a foundation that felt right for me.

That's when this song was born.

The lines that appear around our eyes and mouths aren't just wrinkles.

They're proof of the moments we've laughed,
the moments we've cried,
and the time we've shared with the people we love.

There are days when growing older feels scary.

But those changes are also a reminder that we've lived, loved, and experienced life.

I wrote this song with those feelings in my heart.

I hope it helps you be a little kinder to yourself,
and maybe see the person in the mirror with a little more love.

    aKI is a singer -songwriter from Yokohama , Japan. She began studying jazz and popular vocals at the age of 12, and started performing live and writing original songs in 2014. Since then she has performed in a wide variety of venues,including resort hotels,leisure facilities,concert halls,live houses, commercial venues, and restaurants,sharing her music with diverse audiences. aKI released her all-original mini album, "Bon voyage!!",nationwide in Japan, along with several digital singles.
