Tokyo based pop-shoegaze Shelling release their new 3rd Album on White Paddy Mountain. They built a sound of a beautifully destructive electric guitar that reminds me of my bloody valentine.Also, a beautiful melody emerges in roar like the sea of distortion."shelling" is aya(vocal,guitar,compose) and shota(guitar). and their sounds is called "sherbet pop" in japan. and aya is known as fraqsea is hers solo project.Chihei Hatakeyama is in charge of mix and mastering.     Shelling means "pick up shells". The members are Aya (G & Vo, Composer) and Shota (Guitar). Ambient floating, electronica cold, dreamy shoegather sound A pleasantly transparent vocal evokes a fantastic scenery and is also called a sherbet pop. The first album "Shelling" was released in 2013, and praised everywhere. In 2014 he released his second album "Aquarium Sympathy". An interview has been posted at The Japan Times, and he has been active in a wide range of performances such as performing in Taiwan in 2015. aya also has solo activities under the name of fraqsea and has released two albums.
