Let’s begin
When the world ends
And I am born again
It’s Zero Year
In the stratosphere
When the soul’s been engineered
Spaceship Head
(That’ s me––Mister Eternity)
Spaceship Head
(That’ s me–– Generation ZZZ)
Spaceship Head
(That’ s me––Mister Eternity)
Spaceship Head
(That’ s me–– Generation ZZZ)
Let’s begin
When the world ends
And I am born again
It’s Zero Year
With the song of the spheres
In these antenna ears
Spaceship Head
(That’ s me––Mister Eternity)
Spaceship Head
(That’ s me–– Generation ZZZ)
Spaceship Head
(That’ s me––Mister Eternity)
Spaceship Head
(That’ s me–– Generation ZZZ)
Spaceship Head
(That’ s me––Mister Eternity)
Spaceship Head
(That’ s me–– Generation ZZZ)
Spaceship Head
(That’ s me––Mister Eternity)
Spaceship Head
(That’ s me–– Generation ZZZ)

Euphonix
Euphonix has started distributing their second album for the first time in about two years. This time, Chris Mosdell is in charge of the lyrics. He has written lyrics for the Yellow Magic Orchestra (YMO), Eric Clapton, Boy George, Yoko Kanno, Yukihiro Takahashi, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Sheena & Rockets and others. On the other hand, he writes lyrics in a wide range of fields such as movie music and stage music. The scientific and spacey world view of his lyrics is expressed by the electronica sound of Euphonix, who respects YMO while producing music. The lead song "Spaceship Head", with its catchy chorus, is perfectly linked to the sci-fi movie-style music video that makes full use of the latest digital human technology, making it an interesting work for sci-fi movie fans. Overall, the electronic sound is reminiscent of YMO's mid-term, 1980s electronic music, and Yukihiro Takahashi's Meta Five, which makes extensive use of vintage synths.
Artist Profile
Euphonix
Euphonix is an electronic musician based in Tokyo. Influenced by the Electronica scene of the 80s and 90s, Euphonix has been creating music continuously. In April 2010, he won an award in the Fred Perry song contest judged by YMO's Yukihiro Takahashi. Since then, he has participated in J-WAVE's MUSIC HYPER MARKET and provided music for female vocalist (Joanna Koike) under a separate project called "Drip dry eyes." Euphonix's second album, "SPACESHIP HEAD," released in January 2023, features lyrics provided by Chris Mosdell, a British lyricist who has worked on movie and stage music, as well as providing lyrics to famous musicians such as YMO. This album was created using vintage synthesizers and has an electronic sound reminiscent of YMO's mid-period and electronic music from the 1980s. The lead track of this album, "SPACESHIP HEAD," is linked to an SF-movie-style music video utilizing the latest digital human technology. This album is a must-listen for YMO and electronica fans. Furthermore, in April 2023, "SPACESHIP HEAD" was selected as the best work in the synthesizer contest on the radio program "Logic Radio" (α Station/FM Kyoto) hosted by Hideki Matsutake, often referred to as the fourth member of YMO.
